This version of our much-loved Boxy Jacket is made using beautifully quilted Bagru block print cotton, available in two carefully chosen colourways: Praline and Plum & Orange. With its relaxed, boxy shape and subtle darts for gentle shaping, it’s perfect for layering and pairs effortlessly with jeans or linen trousers for an easy, everyday look. The Praline option features the same warm-toned print on both sides for a more understated, cohesive finish, while Plum & Orange offers a contrasting reverse for added visual interest. Both share that softly padded, lightly structured feel that makes this jacket such a pleasure to make and wear.

Designed as an unlined jacket, this kit introduces you to Hong Kong seams - a beautifully neat way to finish raw edges using bias binding. It’s a technique that adds a polished, professional feel to the inside of your garment, and one that’s well worth having in your sewing toolkit.

Please note: Horizontal quilting lines appear at intervals as part of the making process and will be present within your cut length. As with many Indian hand-printed textiles, slight irregularities in the print may occur; these are part of the fabric’s charm and not considered flaws.
